The Hotel
Where are you located?
The Benson Hotel is located at 13025 East Montview Blvd Aurora, CO 80045, on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
How old do you need to be to reserve a room?
Guests must be 21 or older with a valid ID to check in.
Is there a deposit or authorization required at check-in?
Yes. A debit or credit card will be authorized for the full room, tax, and fees, plus an additional $75 per day for incidentals.
Is smoking allowed at The Benson?
No. The hotel is a 100% non-smoking facility, including balconies, decks, and patios. A $500 fee will apply for non-compliance.
Do you allow pets?
Yes, the hotel is dog-friendly! One dog under 50 lbs. is allowed per room, and additional fees may apply. Explore our pet policy for further details and amenities we offer our four legged guests.
When is my card charged during my stay?
Your debit or credit card will be authorized for the full amount of your stay, plus $75 per day for incidental charges.
How much is your amenity fee?
A $15 nightly amenity fee, plus tax, applies per night and includes a $10 Daily Credit* for The Common Good, complimentary high-speed WIFI, two bottles of water upon check-in, and complimentary daily coffee located in the lobby.
* Please Note: The $10 daily credit cannot be accumulated and is only available once per day when you spend $25 or more. Credit cannot be used towards alcohol, taxes, or gratuity.
Do you have parking?
Yes! Both valet and self parking options are available.
Valet Parking: Valet parking is available at a rate of $39 per vehicle, per night, plus service fees.
Self-Parking: Self-Parking is available at $20, plus service fees.
The Faculty Club
How much are membership dues?
$600 annually.
What type of payment do you accept and can I pay monthly?
Credit card only. Only one annual payment at the beginning of your membership is permitted.
Is there a Food and Beverage minimum I need to spend?
Yes, $500 needs to be spent during the membership year in the club lounge, The Common Good and the lobby bar.
If I utilize my member status to book a club meeting room with my department can I use a different form of payment method?
Yes. We do not allow member discounts to be utilized by non members, but member amenities are a case by case basis. If the member is comfortable with “sponsoring” the event and will be present at the event than that is acceptable.
Are children allowed?
No, The Faculty Club is an 18 and over establishment.
Can I use the Club to host a private event?
Yes! This would be qualified as a “buy out” and requires an additional fee.
Can I personally have more than 4 private guests in the lounge setting?
No, but private meeting rooms do not have a maximum of non members who you are allowed to entertain.
If I'm enjoying lunch with my non member guests and I have to suddenly leave, do they have to leave as well?
No, but you will be their “sponsor” and held responsible if they break any rules or policies.
